When executive director Brian Kruse attended the ICCFA Experience 2026, it demonstrated an advantage Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Cemetery and Mausoleum (forestlawnomaha.com) began investing in long ago – its people.
“Being part of professional associations enables us to access specialized knowledge and insights that enhance the ways we’re able to serve our clients, families and community. They also give us a voice in issues within our own industry,” Kruse said.
In addition to national associations, Forest Lawn staff participates in organizations closer to home, such as state professional groups, local business groups, service organizations, churches, youth sports and activities, as well as other nonprofits designed to address community issues.
“We are members of the community, so it’s important that we are actively engaged in our community in many different ways,” Kruse said.
