Florence Home Healthcare Center (www.omahaseniorcare.org/our-communities/florence-home-healthcare-center.html) received the 2022 Better Business Bureau (BBB) Torch Award for Ethics Award at a luncheon on September 21 at the Embassy Suites Conference Center in La Vista. These Awards focus on demonstrated ethical business practices with key stakeholders, including customers, employees, and community at large, rather than a company’s growth, profitability, or popularity. The Torch Award winners were chosen by an independent panel of judges consisting of metro Omaha business and charity leaders and members of the academic community.
Florence Home CEO and President Lois Jordan states, “On behalf of Florence Home and the team members that made it possible, I want express our sincere gratitude to the BBB for selecting our organization to be a recipient of the 2022 BBB Torch Award. Ethical business practices at Florence Home are interwoven into everything we do. From the care we provide to our financial stewardship, we are committed to conducting our business with integrity.”
Established in 1906, Florence Home Healthcare Center is truly the cornerstone of senior care in Omaha. Support is offered through their rehabilitation services, among others. Many of their residents are there to recover from an injury, surgery, or physically limiting illness. Physical, occupational, and speech/language therapists work on-site to assist these individuals in achieving their highest level of ability and independence. Florence Home makes a difference in the lives of those they serve, and they especially strive to honor our veterans who proudly served our country.
