Two Lincoln-based SaaS (Software as a Service) companies recently announced that they have merged in an effort to expand services to their growing client base.  Floor99, a cloud computing application services company, has merged with Firespring, a marketing and technology provider. Jay Wilkinson, CEO of Firespring announced the merger as part of Firespring’s strategy to expand services to the nonprofit sector nationwide. Specializing in providing nonprofits with online tools such as websites, event registration and donor management, Firespring helps more than 3,000 clients worldwide. Floor99 products provide nonprofits with cloud-based help-desk services, document management, accounting systems and human resources management.  The companies have no overlap in services but several Nebraska customers in common. Floor99 will be branded as a product of Firespring and Tom Nielsen, the founder of Floor99, will serve as the president of the division. The combined companies will employ 115 people at their headquarters in south Lincoln.
