Five Below Celebrates Grand Opening at Metro Crossing

A grand opening celebration was held by the Five Below (www.fivebelow.com) store at Metro Crossing on March 29. Geared towards youth, all items in the store are priced at $5 or less, and some special limited items are priced at $10 or less. In addition to their locations in Bellevue and Council Bluffs, Five Below now has three locations in the Metro area. Five Below specializes in kid-friendly items, including a range of toys, décor, clothing, tech accessories, books, party gear, and art supplies. Seasonal items to celebrate major holidays are also offered. As Five Below explains on their website, all their items are chosen to fit with a key theme: “Our stores are jam-packed with handpicked stuff that falls under eight cool categories: Style, Room, Sports, Tech, Crafts, Party, Candy, and Now.”

Non-profit organizations can partner with Five Below to raise funds. During a fundraising event, Five Below will donate 10% of all participating sales to a non-profit organization, which can include schools and youth athletic teams. Five Below supports the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer during the month of May, and the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital each year, raising over one million dollars for each organization. You can visit the newest Five Below location at 3815 Metro Crossing Dr., and browse and shop for items online at www.fivebelow.com.
