Omaha Truck Center, Inc., one of the nation’s largest Freightliner dealerships, began construction for an expanded truck dealership at 4814 S. Lincoln Avenue, York, NE.

The facility is adding 9,000 square feet, doubling the service repair bays and creating more room for driver comforts. “York is a good market and we’re excited about the increased ability to serve our customers as well as contributing to the city’s job growth and economic development,” said OTC, Inc. president Trey Mytty.

In addition to the physical expansion, Mytty estimates the York dealership will increase its workforce by up to 50 percent to handle additional service work. Customer parking is also expanding with an additional 25,000 square feet of concrete.

OTC, Inc. contracted with B-D Construction, Inc. of Columbus to construct the facility expansion.

Founded as a single dealership in 1975, OTC, Inc. has grown to 11 locations in Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas with 460 employees.  OTC, Inc. is one of the nation’s largest full-service Freightliner dealerships representing Freightliner, Sterling, Western Star, GMC, Isuzu, Thomas Built Buses, and Ottawa product lines.  The company is headquartered in Omaha, Neb.
