ExporTech™ Sessions Open to Local SMBs

ExporTech™ (nemep.unl.edu/exportech-2017is returning to Nebraska! This nationally-recognized program is proven to help small and mid-sized businesses boost their exports.

ExporTech™ provides companies with a systematic process for entering or expanding in global markets and connects them with the best international business experts in the region. The fee-based program helps those enrolled develop a peer-reviewed export growth plan. Over a seven week period, a unique combination of innovative group sessions and individualized coaching is used to quickly enable participants to increase their exports. Companies have generated, on average between $500,000 and $700,000 in new or retained export sales, often within six months of completion.

The program, which begins February 23, 2017, is offered by the Nebraska Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), First National Bank of Omaha, Greater Omaha Chamber, Nebraska Business Development Center and the U.S. Commercial Service. All sessions will be hosted at the Greater Omaha Chamber in downtown Omaha. Enrollment is limited to eight companies, with go-to-market financial assistance available to qualifying participants. Applications must be received by 5 p.m. on January 26th, 2017.
