Empowerment Network Presents Annual Rebuilding the Village Conference

The Empowerment Network (empoweromaha.com), an organization dedicated to promoting personal responsibility and improving the economic conditions of African-Americans, North Omaha residents, and the citizens of Greater Omaha, will host its 12th annual Rebuilding the Village Conference on May 24, 7 a.m.–3 p.m., at the Hilton Downtown Omaha. This year’s theme is “Collaborating on a Common Agenda.” Attendees will hear about the organizations’ plans for 2025 and gain knowledge from a series of talks and breakout sessions focused on relevant topics. May 19 is the deadline to register for the conference.

The Empowerment Network’s mission is “Working together to transform the City of Omaha into a GREAT city, thriving and prosperous in every zip code and neighborhood; a place where all citizens are engaged and empowered and have full access to the incredible opportunities that are available.”
