Economic Outlook Luncheon Features Annual Survey Results, Futurist Rebecca Ryan

A vision of Greater Omaha 2040 will be unveiled Tuesday, November 14 at the Greater Omaha Chamber’s annual Economic Outlook Luncheon, taking place at 11:45 a.m. at CenturyLink Center Omaha. The event, which will feature the region’s resident futurist and founder of Next Generation Consulting, Rebecca Ryan, expects nearly 700 area CEOs, bankers, investors and economists – many of whom are actively weighing in on the collaborative strategies and collective foresight driving the region’s competitive position for the next 25 years. In addition to Ryan’s keynote, Nathan Kauffman, assistant vice president and Omaha Branch executive with the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, will share an overview of key regional economy trends, identifying areas of strengths and risks. Results of the area’s Economic Outlook Survey, a yearly measure of projected economic and commercial activity, as well as hiring intentions and capital investment, will also be presented at the initiative.

Event registration is open now at www.omahachamber.org/EOL and closes November 7. Member cost is $65, nonmembers are $85, and tables of 10 are also available.
