CREW Omaha Metro Celebrates 10 Years of Advancing Women

On Saturday, January 19, beginning at 5:30 p.m., CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Omaha Metro (crewomahametro.org) will celebrate its 10th anniversary of advancing women in commercial real estate with a special event at Omaha Hilton. During the event, awards will be given to those who have been supporters and instrumental in CREW Omaha Metro’s success over the past 10 years.

Award recipients include: Baird Holm – Founders Award; Jacqueline A. Pueppke, Baird Holm – First Presidents Award; Amy Blumenthal, C&A Industries – First Presidents Award; Chip James, Lockwood Development, – CREW Catalyst Award; Jerry Slusky, Smith Slusky Law, L.L.P – I’m With Her Award.

CREW is 140 members strong, made up of women from a variety of companies and disciplines who are experts in their fields. The relationships created during CREW events have crossed over into professional settings with members regularly reaching out and doing business together on local real estate projects. In fact, a $4 million dollar land transaction had six different CREW members involved to get the deal closed!

Over the past decade, CREW Omaha Metro members have been honored in the community in the Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame, 40 Under 40, Midwest Magazine CRE Hall of Fame, and as leaders in various community organizations.
