The Cox Classic, presented by Lexus of Omaha, has announced that this year’s tournament will be held at Champions Run Golf Course the week of August 19, 2013.
Tournament play will begin on Thursday, August 22, with the final round commencing on Sunday, August 25. A special “The 25” card ceremony will take place after the tournament, awarding the Top 25 money winners on the Web.com tour their PGA Tour cards for the 2014 season.
Monday, August 19 will be the Creighton University College of Business Pro-Am and Wednesday, August 21 will be the Wednesday Pro-Am.
Last year, the Cox Classic dispersed more than $100,000 to the 12 local charities. Since the beginning of the tournament, nearly $2 million has been given to the Omaha metro charities involved.
