The Countryside Village Art Fair enters its 42nd year on June 2nd and 3rd by bringing about 130 artists from 20 states into Omaha, according to Larry Myers, owner of Countryside Village at 87th and Pacific Streets in Omaha.

The fair, which is listed in the Art Fair Source Book as one of the nation¹s top 300 events, is open on Saturday, June 2 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sunday, June 3, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Nationally known artists attending this year¹s show are: painter Sang Choi and mixed-media jeweler Stephanie St. John, both from Utah, and Jim Ryon, a painter from Missouri and Richard Lindsay, a fine jeweler from New Mexico.

Local artists who have a following will also be at the fair. They include: Linda Stych, a well-known watercolor artist of Nebraska Cornhuskers Football team, as well as metal sculpture artist Adam Weiss, and Cora Taylor a popular mixed-media photographer.

Musicians entertaining during the fair are: Tim Javorsky, Saturday from 10a.m. to -2p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.  Ron Cooley will entertain Saturday afternoon from 2 to 6, and Joey Gulizia entertains Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2pm.
