Collective for Hope (CFH) (collectiveforhope.org/support) officially opened its family grief center at a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Called The Courtnage Home for Health and Hope and located at 8000 Chicago Street, the new building is intentionally designed with the grieving community in mind and will help CFH achieve its goal of helping community members, schools, and organizations/businesses better understand the impact of grief on both an individual and community level.
The Courtnage Home for Health and Hope includes a lending library and a large community space for training, workshops and grief education symposiums. There will be breakout rooms for support groups and community training, personalized counseling in two individual therapy rooms, a mock hospital room and a larger kitchen and pantry.
