Cobalt Credit Union (cobaltcu.com) is proud to announce a new financial literacy partnership with Heart Ministry Center supporting the organization’s inaugural Willing Partner Path to Savings program, a 12-month initiative designed to help participants build savings, strengthen financial knowledge and develop habits that support long-term financial stability.
As part of the collaboration, Cobalt Credit Union will provide participants with financial education curriculum and in-person presentations covering topics such as budgeting, saving, establishing financial goals, understanding credit, managing debt, banking basics and building healthy financial habits.
What makes the partnership unique is the opportunity for participants to put those lessons into practice throughout the program. At the beginning of the 12-month program, participants will establish a Cobalt Credit Union savings account that will serve as a hands-on tool for building their savings and experiencing the benefits of maintaining a dedicated savings account.
Throughout the program, participants will work toward their savings goals while completing financial education and engaging with resources designed to increase their confidence in managing their finances. Upon successful completion of the 12-month program, participants will gain access to the savings accumulated through the program.
The Willing Partner Path to Savings program reflects a shared commitment between Cobalt Credit Union and Heart Ministry Center to provide participants with practical tools, education and opportunities that promote greater financial independence and long-term financial well-being.
