Cobalt Credit Union (cobaltcu.com) is proud to announce a donation of $50,000 to be distributed among 25 nonprofit organizations as part of its annual Holiday Helping Hand initiative.

The selection process incorporated feedback from Cobalt employees, who nominated organizations based on personal connections and community impact. This year’s recipients primarily serve in social service fields with a strong focus on addressing the growing challenge of food insecurity in the communities Cobalt serves.

Greg Fripp, Founder and CEO of Whispering Roots, shared: “We have been extremely busy, with demand for our services at an all-time high given everything that’s been taking place in the community. The timing of your email is wonderful!”

Robin Larsen, President/CEO of Cobalt Credit Union, added: “In the spirit of giving, we are honored to extend a helping hand to our community, providing crucial support to those in need. These donations, along with numerous other community-oriented activities we engage in throughout the year, underscore Cobalt’s commitment to fostering a stronger, more compassionate community.”
