Church’s Chicken (www.churchs.com), a Texas-born fried chicken restaurant is breaking ground on a new location in Omaha! You can take a peek at how construction is going at 168th and Spaulding St., right off West Maple Rd. There’s not much to see yet, but enough to get you excited. So far, there is no word on an exact opening date, but more information is set to come soon.

After closing down their only Omaha location years ago, the community is excited to see the famous food make it’s reappearance as the only Nebraska location. Although Omaha is home to several great chicken restaurants, one more can only add to the ever-growing list of reasons to live in Omaha. Several people in the Omaha metro area have been looking forward to this for a long time.

Church’s Chicken first opened to the public in 1952, and has since opened over 850 locations nationwide. They have tasty menu options and great sides, including crowd-favorite honey butter biscuits.
