Children’s Respite Care Center (CRCC) is proud to announce that in April, they will open their newest location at 5321 South 138th Street, right in the heart of Millard. Fully funded by generous donors and philanthropic organizations, the new building will house the CRCC Therapy Center, including a therapy gym, which boasts a customized climbing structure and private treatment rooms.  The new center will offer outpatient therapy services in addition to providing the traditional services.  CRCC’s therapy program emphasizes a caring, compassionate child-focused approach for day and outpatient programs.  Behavior Health Services will also expand in the new center.  Mental health professionals oversee the program designed to help children replace problem behaviors with more positive skills in a structured classroom setting.  The therapists work together with the family to create individual treatment plans.  Counselors are available to meet with families at home or on-site in one of the five therapeutic rooms.

For over 23 years Children’s Respite Care Center, a unique non-profit organization, has helped special needs children from birth to age 21 reach their potential by providing comprehensive educational, medical and therapeutic care through behavioral health, day and overnight weekend programs. Licensed nurses, teachers and associates combine their skills and experience to assist children whose needs cannot be met in traditional childcare settings.
