Cheever Construction Completes Renovation on Fremont City Auditorium
Cheever Construction (cheeverconstruction.com) recently completed a wide-ranging renovation on the Fremont City Auditorium. There was a grand reopening held on April 3 to celebrate, and a virtual tour made available for those who could not attend. Justin Kurtzer, president of Cheever, was in attendance and expressed his gratitude for being selected as the general contractor for the project. It took 1.5 years to complete the $3.87 million project, which came in more than $400,000 under budget. The renovations included a new roof; new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system; fi re sprinkler system; main floor restrooms with handicap accessibility; newly refurbished main area with technology and a movable wall that can divide the area in two; new meeting spaces; caterer-friendly kitchen; and entries and exits that are Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible.
