Chamber Announces Leadership Omaha’s Milestone 40th Class

Leadership Omaha, one of the longest-running community leadership programs in the nation, has reached another significant milestone – its 40th year of developing leaders capable of strengthening and transforming the community. The Chamber is underscoring the achievement by announcing the distinguished members of Leadership Omaha Class 40, a diverse group of 49 men and women (listed below) who will spend the next ten months focusing on community trusteeship and awareness, ultimately joining a network of almost 1,700 Leadership Omaha alumni.

Class members are chosen based on their demonstrated community involvement and vision for Greater Omaha’s future. In addition to their Aug. 3 orientation – and prior to graduating in June – participants will attend a retreat in September and then monthly, daylong seminars on community issues, including education, inclusivity and justice. Class members will also complete small group projects for the benefit of the Omaha community.
