Centris Holds Ribbon Cutting for Opening of New Headquarters at Sterling Ridge
Centris Federal Credit Union (centrisfcu.org) recently partnered with the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce to hold a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of its new headquarters and 15th branch at Sterling Ridge (13120 Pierce St.). There were over 100 people in attendance, including many of Centris’s 150 employees. Guests were able to take tours of the new four-story building. Remarks were given by Steve Swanstrom, Centris President and CEO, Bob Drake, Director of Membership Development, Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce and Denise Hill, Centris Board of Directors Chair. A community event complete with a free picnic was hosted by Centris on July 31. Guests enjoyed free hot dogs, burgers, games, and prizes.
The new building is a full-service branch with two drive-thru lanes and a publically available community room. There are 24 conference and training rooms, in addition to three outdoor patio spaces for employees, complete with a green roof- friendly mix of succulent plants. For parents with school-aged children, Centris installed a kids area with Touch 2 Play and Playstation screens and equipment. Holland Basham Architects designed the structure and MCL Construction managed the project implementation. Centris occupies three of the four floors with a tenant and lease space available on the second floor.
