Centris Federal Credit Union (www.centrisfcu.org) is pleased to announce the recipients of its inaugural community grant program that awarded $50,000 to local nonprofits.

The 2023 recipients of the Centris Federal Credit Union Grant are:

  • A Mother’s Love, Inc.
  • Avenue Scholars
  • Blue Bucket Project
  • Community Action partnership of Mid-Nebraska (North Platte Senior Center)
  • DIBS for Kids
  • Down Syndrome Alliance of the Midlands
  • Papillion La Vista Community Schools Foundation
  • Partners for Livable Omaha DBA Omaha Mobile Stage
  • The Furniture Project, Omaha

With each request for funding, Centris determines where their charitable dollars will be placed based on an organizations’ focus on financial education, health and human services and/or community betterment.

“Throughout the years, Centris has sponsored or donated to various causes within the communities we serve,” said Dawn Gonzales, Vice President, Community Relations for Centris. “Launching a formal grant program gave us the opportunity to see the great diversity in the grant requests,” said Gonzales.

Through the grant program, Centris aimed to empower the recipients and help them achieve lasting impacts. Centris will be launching their 2024 grant program application process in summer of 2024. More information will be available on their website at centrisfcu.org.
