Cathy Hughes to Deliver Keynote at The Empowerment Network’s Annual Conference
The Empowerment Network’s (empoweromaha.com) 11th Annual Rebuilding the Village Conference will feature keynote speaker Cathy Hughes, a native of North Omaha and founder and chairperson of Urban One, Inc. Urban One, at nearly $500 million in revenues, is the largest African-American owned and operated broadcast company in the nation. The conference is set to take place on Friday, May 18 at the Hilton Omaha Downtown (1001 Cass St.). This day-long conference begins at 7 a.m. and goes until 4 p.m. The keynote presentation will take place during the luncheon at 11:45 a.m. Additional speakers include Jaylen Bledsoe, 19-year-old internationally-known entrepreneur with a business valued at $10 million; Dr. Pamela Jolly, expert on legacy wealth; and more dynamic speakers that will inspire, challenge and ignite attendees to impact their communities and take game-changing solutions to scale.
Companies are able to reserve a table for 10 attendees, either for the full conference or the luncheon only. Individuals, students, and exhibitors are welcome to register as well.
