Brookestone Meadows (brookestonemeadows.com) has been in the process of remodeling the interior of their rehabilitation and long-term care facility. On August 4, the team spent the afternoon loading any remaining furniture from their building into trucks to donate to the community. Some furniture went to Thrift World and the majority of it went to Least of My Brethren. They were able to donate about 10 loveseats, 24 living room chairs, 12-15 end tables and nightstands, 10 really nice small kitchen tables, and a variety of chairs to Least of My Brethren. In addition, 35 of their chapel chairs were donated to the Hooper Senior Center. Not only is Brookestone Meadows enhancing the inside of their walls for the benefit of their residents, but they are also looking outside their walls to enhance the community.
