Omaha original Brix has officially brought its “complete wine and spirits experience” to midtown Omaha with the opening of its Midtown Crossing location. Designed by owner Dan Matuszek, the innovative Brix concept brings three complimentary businesses together under one roof – a full-menu Bistro; a wine, beer, spirits “and more” retail store; and a state-of-the-art event centre.
Matuszek said guests will notice a lot of similarities – and a lot of differences — between the original Village Pointe operation in west Omaha and the new Midtown Crossing location. Differences emerge in the layout of the two locations. Midtown Crossing’s is more of an “integrated model.” “We have the same three components, but they’re more integrated into one. There isn’t a separation between the Bistro and the retail store. At Midtown Crossing, you’ll be able to try 64 different wines right where you buy them,” said Matuszek.
