April Kelly, owner of Boss Studios, is pleased to announce that her salon suite location recently held a fundraiser for Memories for Kids.  The event, which included an open house and silent auction, attracted over 100 guests and raised $700 for the non-profit.

Memories for Kids is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission of creating lifelong memories for children of parents with terminal cancer.  The organization was founded by Lisa Gravelle, who started the non-profit after her sister-in-law was diagnosed with terminal cancer and she struggled to find a way to help the family during this devastating time.  The organization is medical-based and most families they help are referred by their oncologist.  They have helped families with experiences such as sporting events and concerts and look forward to making many more memories for children.

Memories for Kids is always looking for people to help their organization through volunteering, sponsorships or donations.  For more information, please contact Lisa Gravelle at lisa.gravelle@hotmail.com or visit www.memoriesforkids.org.  For more information on Boss Studios, please visit www.bossomaha.com.
