Black Oak Grill brings familiar American dishes with a chef-inspired twist to Midtown Crossing. The restaurant opened Dec. 4. Omaha’s Black Oak Grill finds its roots in America’s neighborhood cafes and corner taverns.

The menu utilizes only the freshest ingredients and includes traditional American favorites, such as the signature Pork Chop with a Woodford Reserve maple brown sugar-glaze and served with garlic smash potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The Iron Skillet Trout is another favorite, with a toasted almond crust and served with green onion basmati rice and pinot-infused cranberries, along with slow roasted Danish Baby Back Ribs basted with house-made BBQ Sauce and paired with apple jicama slaw and savory fries.

Black Oak Grill features some of Omaha’s favorite brands. Local draft beers include brews from Nebraska Brewing Company, Lucky Bucket Brewing Company, and Empyrean Brewing Company. For dessert, the restaurant features seasonal pie and cake from Bliss Old Market Bakery. Local bread makers Le Quartier Baking Company and Rotella’s Italian Bakery deliver handcrafted, fresh-baked breads to the restaurant daily.

Black Oak Grill serves lunch and dinner, with entrées priced between $7.99 and $17.99. The restaurant has 20 menu items priced under $10.
