On November 10, Berry Law (jsberrylaw.com) was awarded the prestigious Platinum Medallion from the U.S. Department of Labor’s HIRE Vets Program, which recognizes companies that are committed to hiring, training, and developing Veterans. This is the second consecutive year that Berry Law has received the honor and is a testament to the firm’s dedication to serving Veterans, which also includes providing legal services to Veterans nationwide. The HIRE Vets Medallion Program is the only federal award recognizing businesses that excel at hiring and retaining Veterans on staff and the Platinum Medallion is the highest honor a company can receive. To be considered for this medallion, the nominated business must have Veteran-integrated assistance programs and 10% of their new hires must be Veterans.
