The Bellevue Chamber of Commerce & Community (bellevuenebraska.com) will host a Career Fair and Business Expo at the BPS Lied Activity Center on Thursday, September 19.
The chamber will partner with local businesses, the military community to include defense contractors and the Department of Labor. The event will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the first hour being open to high school seniors.
One half of the BPS Lied Activity Center will be dedicated to businesses and organizations looking to hire candidates, do resume reviews and more. The other half will host a Business Expo where attendees can learn more about local businesses, but ones that are not currently hiring. The Career Fair will be sponsored by Beardmore Subaru. Companies can participate in the Career Fair or Business Expo for $150 per table (for Bellevue Chamber of Commerce & Community members) or $175 per table (for non-chamber members).
“We know there is a lot of talent in our city and surrounding metro area. We hope the Career Fair and Business Expo will be a great opportunity to connect hiring businesses with potential candidates. We will continue to update our website with participating businesses, organizations, and vendors. We encourage everyone to dust off their resumes and save the date for this. It could open a new door into your career,” said Diane Bruce, chamber President & CEO.
