Aqua Systems Named Service Provider of the Year by WasteCap Nebraska
Aqua Systems of Nebraska was recently named Service Provider of the Year by WasteCap Nebraska for their new Mobile Hydration Service. This new service provides innovative mobile drinking water stations, designed specifically for outdoor events. These “stations” remove the need for plastics at large events and showcase a refreshingly simple alternative to bottled water.
“We’re proud to have developed this new, eco-friendly solution to the huge volume of trash generated at large public gatherings,” said Jeff White, Aqua Systems President. “People need to stay hydrated and we’ve been able to do that with a very small footprint left behind.”
Because of this outside-the-box thinking, Aqua Systems was also recently awarded grant funding from the Nebraska State Recycling Association. The Recycling Equipment Grant from the Association is one of 113 grant projects in 2015 receiving $19.4 million in grant awards from the Nebraska Environmental Trust. The Trust is funded by proceeds from the Nebraska Lottery and has awarded more than $233 million to natural resource projects in Nebraska since 1993.
