American Marketing Association of Omaha Hosts Free ‘Power of the Podcast’ Program
The American Marketing Association of Omaha (amaomaha.org) is hosting a FREE Zoom workshop on April 14, titled “The Power of the Podcast.” With the burgeoning popularity of podcasts, radio industry experts Jill Thomas and Pat Safford will help you answer questions including What’s a podcast?, Why do I need a podcast?, and How do I start my podcast? They’ll address the real value in podcasting—being able to tell your story about your business in your voice, which gives your audience a strong understanding of your business and culture and a deeper connection with you, the expert. From small businesses making their marks in their local areas to national organizations, Jill and Pat have worked with incredible brands of all sizes and budgets on a variety of projects.
Jill grew up in Ashland and began her career in radio more than 25 years ago, as an intern for a morning show. Through the years, she has found herself handling nearly every role you can find within the radio industry, including hosting a morning show with Pat for 17 years. Pat has also worked in radio for more than 25 years, spending most of his time as an on-airhost before co-founding the Parkville Media Podcast Production Company with Jill.
