Ambius Shows Appreciation for Frontline Workers Through Hometown Heroes Program

Ambius (www.ambius.com) colleagues from across the United States and Canada, including Omaha, took to their communities during the last few weeks to give back to the frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Deemed Hometown Heroes, the frontline workers included healthcare professionals, senior-care facility workers, and first responders. More than 108 Ambius teams and districts participated in the Hometown Heroes program, choosing organizations in their own communities to say thank you to. The teams developed care packages, some of which included lunch for staff, plants, cookies, and homemade cards from colleagues’ children.

Ambius District Manager Tiffany Falconer led her team in Omaha to give back to the community and several organizations. The team provided a mix of succulents and ponytail palms in festive containers, as well as delivering cookies to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the Bellevue Fire Department, the Urology Cancer Center and Children’s Physicians, Mission Village, as a thank you for their hard work and effort during the pandemic. All told, Ambius teams across the country reached more than 8,100 people on the front lines, and Falconer said she was honored to be part of the Hometown Heroes program and proud of the efforts of her Omaha team.
