Ak-Sar-Ben’s River City Rodeo & Stock Show and the city of Omaha have landed the second largest rodeo in the world, the Justin Boots Championships of the Wrangler Million Dollar Tour. With more than $750,000 in prize money awarded during three performances, Omaha’s rodeo is second only to the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in Las Vegas by prize money awarded by performance. Tickets go on sale June 28 for the rodeo, to be televised by Great American Country (GAC) and held at the CenturyLink Center Omaha Sept. 27-30, 2012.

Featured at this year’s event will be performer Jake Owen following the Friday, Sept. 28 rodeo performance with country hits including “Barefoot Blue Jean Night,” and “Eight Second Ride.” Topping off the Finals event on Sat., Sept. 29, will be country legends Diamond Rio playing chart toppers “How Your Love Makes Me Feel,” and “Beautiful Mess.”

Event tickets as low as $15 will be available on www.ticketmaster.com starting June 28, 2012. Three price levels are available for each performance. The Thur., Sept. 27 rodeo features cost-conscious pricing as it does not include a post-rodeo concert.
