Agemark Opens $10M CountryHouse Memory Care Community in Elkhorn
Recognizing the need for senior memory care in Elkhorn and West Douglas County, Agemark Senior Living (countryhouse.net) announced the opening of a new $10 million exclusive CountryHouse Residence memory-care facility in Elkhorn at the end of December. The 30,000-square-foot community—at 3720 George B Lake Parkway—will house up to 44 residents in 36 private rooms and four companion rooms. As with all of their communities, CountryHouse staff and caregivers completed special training to ensure that the daily care they offer will exceed expectations and the needs of all residents and their families.
Located in Grandview Subdivision, CountryHouse Elkhorn includes all the features of a family home, including a kitchen, dining areas, and comfortable living units. Entries are monitored 24/7, and there’s a secure, beautifully landscaped courtyard for residents to enjoy time outdoors. Life at CountryHouse includes days filled with laughter and activities such as bus rides, crafts, games, singing and dancing, and much more. A familiar daily routine provides reassuring direction, and opportunities to volunteer or help with household chores provide meaning and fulfillment. CountryHouse also takes care of residents’ families and caregivers. That includes providing support groups for families of both current residents as well caregivers within the community at-large, even if their loved one doesn’t reside at CountryHouse.
