Agave Azteca (agaveazteca.com)hosted a grand opening event on April 2-4, complete with a live mariachi band for all three days as well as face painting and balloons for the younger crowd. The celebration kicked off with a ribbon cutting with the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce at 5 p.m. on April 2nd. At Agave Azteca, everything about the restaurant is unique from the furniture and artwork that were custom built in Mexico to the specific glassware pieces that were shipped from there as well. Everything on the menu is made fresh every morning, many of the ingredients and dishes made from family recipes including the house-made habañero sauce and the Albondigas, a flavorful meatball soup. Along with the unique dishes and plate presentations you can’t find anywhere else, Agave Azteca also offers a full bar with 22 different margaritas to choose from.
