A Place at Home Celebrates Grand Opening in Papillion with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

Thanks to the hard work and dedication of Rick and Kris Perkins, A Place at Home (www.aplaceathome.com/ne0009) is now serving the Papillion area with their wide range of in-home care, care coordination, and senior living placement and transition services. To celebrate this expansion, a grand opening event was held on August 30, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony conducted by the Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce.

Rick and Kris have cared about the safety of Larimer County and Douglas County residents for a long time. Rick is a former counselor and manager who spent 20 years with Child and Adult Protective Services, as well as serving as program coordinator for the Juvenile Assessment Center. Kris is a former 911 dispatcher and EMT, and she worked in sales and deployment roles for Motorola Solutions, Inc. where she deployed public safety software across the U.S. Now, this husband-and-wife team is turning their attention to senior care issues with the opening of a new A Place at Home franchise in Papillion.

A Place at Home is an Omaha-based company, and it has experienced explosive growth after its launch in 2012. The Papillion franchise at 10791 S. 72nd St., STE #104 will serve Bellevue, Offutt, Ralston, Chalco, and La Vista, NE and Council Bluffs and Center Lake, IA.
