This month, Brookestone Village will break ground on a new addition designed to expand and enhance its short-term rehabilitation services. The multi-million dollar addition will be approximately 18,000 square feet on the north side of the existing property in Omaha. The project is expected to take 12 months to complete.
The addition will include 21 beds designated for short-term rehabilitation, including seven private rooms with a view of the lake or courtyard and seven toe-to-toe style companion rooms. Six of the private rooms will have personal showers. There will also be a dining room, a patio with lake view, two living rooms, a fireplace, and a kitchen with full-cooking ability, featuring made to order breakfast. A new 4,000 square foot therapy area for physical, occupational, and speech therapy will replace the current 1,500 square foot therapy area. It will include a full bath, kitchen, and built-in stairs for rehabilitation back into the home.
