BLUEBARN Theatre Presents William Shakespeare’s “King Lear” March 24-April 16

March 24 through April 16, BLUEBARN Theater (bluebarn.org) will take on Shakespeare’s most intimate embrace of heights and depths of human experience this spring with King Lear. When an aging monarch Lear decides to divide his kingdom between his three daughters, chaos reigns, madness is ascendant, and love’s labours come to nothing. The show will present at 7:30 p.m., Thursdays through Saturdays. Sunday shows are set for 2 p.m. on April 3 and 6 p.m. on April 10 (no show on March 27). Tickets are available for purchase at bluebarn.org or through the box office at (402) 345-1576. Tickets are $35 for general admission and $30 for individuals in the education, healthcare, and military sectors.
