BBB Announces Integrity Award Scholarship Winners from Lincoln/Greater Nebraska

Better Business Bureau (BBB, BBB.org) is pleased to announce the winners of BBB’s 2022 Scott Mecham Student of Integrity Award Scholarships from Lincoln/Greater Nebraska. These awards were created to promote ethics and integrity among young people so they may be motivated to continue incorporating moral values into every aspect of their lives. Winners were chosen across BBB’s service area of Lincoln/Greater Nebraska; Omaha/Southwest Iowa; South Dakota; and the Kansas Plains. The following students were chosen as part of the Lincoln/Greater Nebraska area:

• Delaney Ham will be graduating from Holdrege High School in Holdrege, NE. She will attend the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Delaney will be majoring in social work and minoring in victimology and Spanish. She plans to pursue graduate school and ultimately a career as a mental health therapist working with underserved populations.

• Heather Riensche will be graduating from Norris High School in Firth, NE. She will attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Heather plans to major in microbiology and environmental science. Beyond graduation, she hopes to pursue research in a field where she can combine microbiology with conservation.

• Joshua (Simon) Janssen will be graduating from Lakeview High School in Columbus, NE. He will attend the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. He plans to major in aerospace engineering.
