The Parkview Well site, located in Grand Island, NE, consists of an aquifer contaminated with industrial chemicals, primarily chlorinated volatile organics. The Nebraska Health and Human Services Section identified the contamination in 1999 when doing routine sampling of the Grand Island public water supply system.
