Lighting the Spark – Women in STEM

In 2025, the Omaha STEM Ecosystem will host four free community events as part of its STEM Connect Series that connects business to education with the goal of developing the future workforce.  

The first event in the series is Lighting the Spark – Women in STEM on Tuesday, Feb. 11. The event will give high school students and young professionals the opportunity to discover their passion, network with women in STEM and find ways to get involved. Whether you’re interested in engineering, medicine, coding or any other aspect of STEM, from aviation to architecture, there’s something for everyone to explore! 

At Lighting the Spark – Women in STEM, the Omaha STEM Ecosystem and its community partners will connect the next generation of STEM talent with successful women representing a variety of STEM careers. The goal is to provide a more supportive and inclusive environment to attract young women to STEM fields and set them up for future success.
