For those of you just now following my journey through the Leadership Acceleration Program or LEAP, this is going to be a 12-month leadership program for individuals passionate about being leaders and reaching the potential in themselves and others. This program will ensure high performance through monthly, half-day skill building workshops; individual personalized coaching and confidential peer interaction. Provided is comprehensive materials and preparation, high-energy and experiential curriculum, reflection and self-discovery time, individual development planning and so much more.
My LEAP program is quickly coming to an end as August is our last session. I, as well as the group, am sad to see it come to an end, but I have confidence this won’t be our last get together as friends! This month we took time reviewing key moments in our road to development. It was so interesting to sit there and think “Have I really changed that much?” And as we went around the room, it was very evident we all had changed on a large scale. Some talked about situations they feared dealing with and out of nowhere surprised themselves with how well they handled it due to the tools LEAP has given us. One said her boss is scratching his head because of the silence to what was a drama filled past and that’s because she is able to resolve the problem before it even needs to get to him. Another team member had an “Aw ha” moment of realizing, she’s really not working in her area of passion and may be shaking some things up. So it will be fun to see where her path leads. But all of these stories tie back to one thing. I have found in this room of very diverse people, the one thing we absolutely all achieved more of was confidence! Confidence in who we are, how handle people and situations and the list goes on. If you are still on the fence of deciding if LEAP is for you or your team, it’s time to get off the fence. LEAP is a tremendous program for the new up and coming as well as the well- seasoned executive and owner. I promise you will be glad you did it!
