The Gretna Crossing YMCA (metroymca.org) proudly celebrated its one-year anniversary on September 18. Since opening its doors, this state-of-the-art facility has become a vital hub for wellness, youth development and community engagement. Over the past year, thousands of members have joined, finding a place to build healthier lifestyles and lasting connections.

A major highlight of the past year was the grand opening of the PrimeTime H2O Zone, a one-of-a-kind aquatic facility. Offering water slides, a lazy river, and a splash pad, the H2O Zone has quickly become a community favorite, providing summer fun for all ages. In recognition of its innovative design and appeal, the PrimeTime H2O Zone was one of Aquatics International’s 2024 Dream Design Honorees, solidifying the location’s place as a leader in recreational excellence.

This remarkable facility was made possible through an innovative partnership with the City of Gretna, the Gretna Public School District and YMCA of Greater Omaha, reflecting the collaborative effort to meet the community’s evolving needs.

The Gretna Crossing YMCA is more than a gym—it’s a cornerstone for families, offering everything from fitness programs to youth sports, swim and camp experiences. The YMCA remains committed to empowering individuals, fostering social responsibility and creating a stronger community for all.
