Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) (vnatoday.org) promotes community health by offering corporate flu clinics to Nebraska businesses, and the proceeds support services provided to uninsured and under-resourced individuals and families.
With flu season around the corner, one way to protect the health of employees is to encourage immunizations. VNA provides convenient, on-site flu clinics for all businesses. For employees who cannot attend the scheduled date, VNA also offers a Flu Voucher that can be combined with the on-site clinic. The voucher can be used at one of VNA’s multiple drive-thru clinic opportunities at VNA’s headquarters.
By choosing VNA as an employer, one will not only protect employees’ health—one will also contribute to the overall health of the community. Proceeds from the annual clinics are reinvested into VNA’s Community Care services, which include shelter nursing, home health aides, parenting support, community events and Safety Net assistance. In 2022, VNA served more than 10,800 flu and immunization clients, meeting the increasing demand for easily accessible flu vaccines.
