Blaine Nelson is the Business Sales Account Executive at ALLO Business (allocommunications.com).

Tell us a little about your business. – ALLO is a Nebraska founded and grown telecommunications provider. We do fiber internet, phone systems, and IT services exceptionally well! Our commitment to local presence and support makes working with us a breeze.

How did you get started in the business? – I got started with ALLO thanks to my prior experience in sales and managed IT services. I’m passionate about being a local advocate for cyber awareness and data security, which fits well with the goal of our technology solutions.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – In recent years both my parents were diagnosed with different forms of aggressive cancer. As heavy as the subject is and as difficult as it’s been to navigate, I believe I’ve matured positively as a young adult and have become immensely more intentional with my time. It has definitely been eye opening, and I’m driven to make a lasting impact on my friends, family and community.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – I’m a competitive powerlifter, so I spend my time in the gym squatting, bench pressing, and deadlifting really heavy weights. I squat over 600lbs, bench press nearly 400lbs, and deadlift nearly 600lbs at the moment. Outside of gym time I love spending time with my fiancé and dog.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I was adopted from South Korea at nine months old.

Who inspires you? – I am inspired by anyone that makes a concerted effort to improve their life and their situation, or those of others. I wouldn’t be who I am today without surrounding myself with high integrity, growth-minded people.

If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be? – Genuine.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – I was in the Big Red Singers show choir group at UNL. I’m a much better dancer than singer, but don’t find that helping businesses with their technology gives me the avenue to show that off? Maybe catch me at a business after hours event!

What is your favorite local Omaha restaurant? – I frequently visit Mouth of the South. Everything on the menu is great, and the bread pudding is awesome!

If our readers would like to contact you, how should they do so? – My work cell is (402) 704-7966 and my email is blaine.nelson@allofiber.com. I’d love to connect with anyone over coffee! I am an avid networker and love making connections. Shoot me a call, text, email or LinkedIn connection request!
