Mark Greatrex, president of Cox Communications (cox.com), visited the greater Omaha area at the end of March. During his visit, Mark spent time with local leaders, the Governor and Cox employees. Mark also traveled to one of Cox’s new rural markets, Fort Calhoun, where he spent his time conversing with customers and local dignitaries. During this visit, Cox donated 30 Sphero robots to Fort Calhoun Community Schools Foundation to support their before and after school STEAM program. Cox has recently expanded their services into other rural areas including Blair, Arlington and Kennard.

In addition to community outreach, Mark, pictured holding up the “peace sign”, spent time with local Cox retail teams to celebrate the iPhone now being available to Cox Mobile customers. The iPhone, along with 5G wireless coverage, meets Cox’s customers’ needs and lifestyles.

During national volunteer month in April, the Cox Business team gathered at Millwork Commons to embrace their creative side and decorate shoes for Lutheran Family Services. The team created 17 unique designs that will go to deserving children and adults in need of reliable footwear. At Cox, employees take pride in volunteering as an opportunity to support the community and connect as a team.
