Locally-owned Uniti Med (unitimed.com) hosted an open house on August 23 to celebrate their new office at 1000 N 90th St., STE 400, with a ribbon cutting in partnership with the Greater Omaha Chamber. Chief Operating Officer Chris Sund is grateful for the support from the Omaha community as the medical staffing agency experiences explosive growth and development. To support the growing staff and operations, Uniti decided to moved to a new office space, which was formerly occupied by LinkedIn and can hold six times more employees than the previous office.
Uniti Med focuses on connecting talented healthcare professionals with medical facilities across the country in need of temporary employees. Uniti grew quickly after launching in 2021, and that rate of growth has only improved in 2022. Since January, their permanent staff has gone from 25 to 68 employees—a dynamic mix of seasoned staffing experts and ambitious young professionals. Staffing up quickly has been critical in order to sustain substantial revenue growth, with weekly sales up 350% since January.
