Grief’s Journey Announces 8-Session Support Groups this Fall
Grief’s Journey (www.griefsjourney.org) will be offering support groups this fall on Tuesday evenings, 6–7:45 p.m., between September 3 and October 22. These groups are held at Grief’s Journey, 7811 Farnam Dr., throughout the year, allowing families to attend eight consecutive sessions with the same members from beginning to end.
Adults and youth ages three and up come to Grief’s Journey’s free grief support programs where they build support and connect with others who “get it.” Grief’s Journey recognizes that there is no timeline to grief and there is no right or wrong way to grieve, so they offer a variety of programs to meet different needs.
Since 2001, Grief’s Journey has been a welcoming, safe place where grieving children, teens and adults find hope. As the region’s cornerstone for grief support, Grief’s Journey provides free peer support programs as well as training, education, and consultation throughout Nebraska and Iowa. Grief’s Journey relies on charitable contributions, special event income, and volunteerism to support its free programs. For more information, visit www.griefsjourney.org.
