Berkshire Hathaway’s Brian Wragge Closes Commercial Transactions at Farnam Building

Brian Wragge, a real estate professional for Berkshire Hathaway Amb HS/Commercial Division (www.berkshirehathawayhs.com), is passionate about the history and architectural beauty of the Farnam 1600 Building. Brian initially listed 16,567 square feet of commercial space (6 units total) at the Farnam property for FVG Farnam Investments LLC, and then sold it in just three days, on January 22, to his buyers at MAC Farnam LLC for $750,000. After completing a 45-day close, he listed a 2,245-square-foot unit of the space, which had been vacant for 11 years, for MAC Farnam. He then immediately secured a 10-year leasing agreement with another client, M & V Investment LLC, who is now renovating the space into their new entity, which will be a pub called The Green Room. According to Brian, these relations were fostered over the listing/sales period of three commercial condos next door in the Regis Building. Including the Farnam Building representations, Brian successfully closed 23 commercial real estate positions in the first quarter of 2019!

The Historic Farnam 1600 Building, the original First National Bank building built in 1916, was enrolled on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It now houses 7,913 square feet of executive office space on the second floor and 3,870 square feet on the third. The 14-story building, featuring mahogany woodwork, vaulted ceilings, and marble pillars, also includes 81 luxury apartments, SY Dry Cleaners, and Culprit Café.
