United Republic Bank Announces Executive Team Promotions and New Hires
United Republic Bank (unitedrepublicbank.com) is pleased to announce the promotions of key senior leadership staff and the addition of four new employees.
Stephen McCown has been promoted to president/CEO of United Republic Bank, replacing Mike Pate, who retired from banking in December. McCown has been with United Republic Bank for six years, previously serving as the chief operating officer. McCown has worked in the banking industry for more than 30 years and held many senior management positions.
In addition, several long-time employees are now holding leadership positions. Amy Mrsny is the new executive vice president of operations. In this role, Mrsny will oversee the operations of the bank to include technology, human resources, and retail banking. She has been in banking for 26 years and began working at United Republic Bank in 2013. Larry Marinovic has been promoted to executive vice president of lending. Marinovic is a veteran of the local commercial real estate industry and has more than 28 years experience in commercial banking. Radean Cox is the senior vice president of loan operations. With 42 years of banking experience, Cox manages all aspects of the loan operation process to ensure customers receive exceptional service.
In addition to these executive team changes, United Republic Bank continues to grow its Omaha team with four new employees. Wendy Boyd and Levi Handley joined the team as commercial lenders. Jennifer Kermoade has been hired as the finance/operation project manager and John Christensen will serve as United Republic Bank’s compliance manager.
