Save the Date: Omaha Gives! May 22

Be sure to save the date for Omaha Gives! (omahagives.org), Omaha’s 7th annual 24-hour charitable challenge set for May 22, presented by American National Bank. This online, year-round platform connects those who want to keep the giving going and area organizations working to create change in a big way! It only takes a $10 donation to join the community giving.

In 2018, the Omaha community supported 960 non-profits, bringing together donors from the Metro area (and across the country!) during Omaha Gives! A total of $7.4 million was raised through last year’s giving day, from 18,548 donors and 48,279 donations. The event continues to create new opportunities for non-profits to gain support; almost one-third of donations in 2018 were first-time gifts to a non-profit and 75% of the total donations were $100 or less, reinforcing that giving together makes a significant impact.

The goal of Omaha Gives! is to inspire the community to come together for 24-hours to give as much as possible to support the work of public 501(c)(3) non-profits in the metro area.
