Nebraska Recycling Council to Hold Webinar on Organizing Glass Recycling Programs
The Nebraska Recycling Council (www.nrcne.org) will host a free webinar on Tuesday, February 5 from noon to 1 p.m. The webinar will be led by Lauren Henry, regional program manager for Ripple Glass since November of 2017. Ripple Glass is a glass recycling company that helps over 80 communities keep glass out of their landfills. Lauren is responsible for all glass recycling programs outside of the Kansas City metro area in nine different states. Lauren’s prior experience is seven years as a neighborhood services specialist with the City of Jefferson, MO, managing CDBGs (Community Development Block Grants) and environmental programs to improve the livability and sustainability of her hometown.
Lauren will discuss how to begin a glass recycling program with Ripple Glass and how the glass industry is doing despite the changes in recycling. To register for this free event, go to attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/9214460891135700226.
